Congenital duodenal diaphragm: a kind of intestinal obstruction

Congenital abnormalities causing incomplete intestinal obstructions, such as stenosis, membranes, duplications, bad rotations, peritoneal bands, aganglionosis; etc, may not appear until a late period of life. We present a 14 months old patient, male, with a history of frequently vomiting since birthday, occasionally bilious, now with abdominal distention, Surgery demonstrated a fenestrated duodenal diaphragm.
