Mapping the production of knowledge on digital health indexed in PubMed

Introduction: Health as an area of knowledge and practice has evolved with the use of technology; therefore, knowing the generation of studies is essential in the field of science.
Objective: To map digital health knowledge production indexed in PubMed in the period between 2019 and June 2024.
Methods: Descriptive bibliometric analysis based on a quantitative approach which leads to a procedure based on identification, criteria and suitability. 740 documents that meet the defined parameters were selected; tools such as Microsoft Excel, ScienceScape, and RStudio were used.
Results: The numerical data of the study was evidenced from various indicators such as years, institutional affiliation, author productivity, relevant sources; production by country, keywords and collaboration network. This is, how the years 2022 and 2023 have more publications, the University of Newcastle is the relevant institution, Smith Lee is the main author, Australia is the leader in contributions worldwide; humans is the outstanding keyword and cluster number 1 in terms of author collaboration network.
Conclusions: The object of study identifies, classifies, systematizes and analyzes the data on the subject, which contributes to the generation, recognition and impact of knowledge in the scientific-academic community of the health sciences.
