Keywords:
suprarenal myelolipoma, adrenal benignant tumorAbstract
We present the case of a 44-years-old female patient who entered the Surgery Service of the Matanzas Military Hospital, Dr. Mario Muñoz Monroy, because of she was followed for a hepatic abscess of probably amoebic etiology. The complementary examination, abdominal ultrasound and abdominal contrasted tomography, showed a tumor of the right suprarenal gland, finally resulting a myelolipoma. The gland was successfully resected, and the histopathologic study confirmed a right suprarenal gland tumor, correspondent to a myelolipoma. The evolution of the patient was satisfactory.Downloads
