Abstract

The growing increase of experimentation in animals is no less than preoccupant. For that reason, great efforts are made around the world for protecting them. Reducing the animals' manipulation, offering them a comfortable, protected environment, and the standardization of the confinement norms, among other actions, have been firmly defended and supported. These ones should be daily actions in the places where those living beings animals are used with the aim of reaching new scientific findings. The great advances achieved in knowledge and development of biomedical sciences on the basis of the usage of experimentation animals, do not imply the indiscriminate usage, and more less, the disrespect of these sentient beings.
