Abstract

Blood pressure is not constant, and changes frequently in response to the physiological stimuli of everyday living.  Was carried out a systematic revision in English and Spanish of the main articles published in PubMed, Scielo and MEDLINE during the period from the year 2010 up to 2018, about the variability of the Blood pressure and his complication. This has been documented by the use of ambulatory Blood pressure monitoring, a technique becoming more widely available that measures Blood pressure at regular intervals—typically each 15–30 min—throughout a 24-h period. This technique has demonstrated that differences among the daylong multiple readings—labelled as short-term variability—are predictive of cardiovascular outcomes independent of absolute Blood pressure levels.
