Craneosynostosis diagnosis.

The craneosynostosis is one of the principal causes of going to consultation, being the fontanel the alarm sign. With the objective to know the diagnosis and the clinic management of this patients we made a review of this theme. The reviwed literature coincides that the fontanel is not a direct sign of craneosynos tosis because in the 2.7 % of children this can disappear before time, at the same time the foutanel could be present and the kid could be the beaner of a craneosynostosis where only a part has been fusioned, and the diagnosis is the clinic and radiological following of the kid. The special exams (TAC, RMN) are to discard congenital malformation. The developed disorder is by simple observation of a dedormity in the skull and the face and according to this is will receive different names.Downloads
