We carried out a descriptive research in health systems and services, with the main objective of identifying subjective factors limiting the pregnant women's access to the stomatologic service. The universe was formed by women who delivered children in the territory of the province of Camaguey during the first semester of 2009. The sample was formed by 239 of these women, who gave birth to children born alive in the Maternity Hospital Ana Betancourt of the provincial capital, in February of that year. We designed a survey to explore knowledge, aptitudes and practices as a quantitative instrument, collecting a group of variables that allowed fulfilling the planned objectives. The obtained data were processed using descriptive statistics, and exposed in charts for a better comprehension. From this information we knew the main subjective factors influencing in the pregnant women's access to the stomatologic treatment, arriving to specific conclusions.Downloads
