Abstract

It is done a review of the different schemes of the classification of retinitis pigmentosa used by different authors,with the objective to create a classification og our patients and aply it in a uniform way in all our centers.The patient is evaluated taking into consideration the beginnings of the illness, type og heritage, clinics characterists,etc.With the application of this scheme of classification it is formed homogeons groups of families and patients for molecular a diagnosis and to investigate aspects not defines in this illness which is the principal cause of blindness inside this worl.
