Abstract

The sequence of caudal return(SRC) consists of a group of lumbosacral deformities associated to other anomalies and it occurs with a frequency of 1/60 000 births.Usually these cases are not very often,a percent happens in descendants of mothers who are diabetic and there have been isolated studied published which demonstrate patterns of a return and dominant heritage. When the fetus detected presents a sacral rachis and a meningocele we interrupt the pregnancy. We describe the ultrasonographic, necrotic and radiologic discoveries found in the studied group, showing when we devise the genealogic tree the existence of a pattern autosomal and dominant.Due to the poor frequency of this syndrome we are motivated to the presentation of this study.
