A bioethic view of ultrasonographic prenatal diagnosis in Matanzas 's province 2004.

This work is about an important side of the medical bioethics: the ethic problems that are related with the ultrasonographic prenatal diagnosis. Concerning this, the authors devote a part of their considerations to the theoretical principle of it , with an emphasis in the philosophical, ethics and bioethics aspects. Different reflections are done about this problem, beginning with its capital importance in the genetic consultation. A special place is given to the doctor – patient relation and to the demonstration, in this order of the moral criteria and the bioethic principles, specially those of no-harm, beneficence and autonomy, and within the last one those whose refer to the patient informed consent.Downloads
