Abstract

We present a case of a neuroectodermal pigmented tumor of the epididymis of scarse frequency in an eight month old infant which was detected by the mother while bathing him and he was admitted in our center with the clinical diagnosis of an epididymis cyst. In the physical examination a tumour of 1,5 cm was evident. A surgery was done removing the tumoural area. The histology exam showed a tumour made up by small cells laid out in groups and separated by fibro tissue , besides we could observe epithelial cells in lobular disposition, mainly with melanoblast in its citoplasm, which guided us to tumour diagnosis that has been basically reported in maxilars, skull, shoulders and soft tissues and of little frequency in the epididymis. We present this case three years after of been diagnosed and the evolution of the patient has been satisfactory.
