The cancer of thyroids even when a high percent have a nonagressive behaviour, it needs a very precise diagnosis and treatment to get a better result. In our country the biopsy by freezing is ruled but it requires an specific time of achievement but this test needs an overtime which make longer the surgical and the anesthetic time. We have performed 197 thyroidectomis in cancer, so we check our results in the test and compared it with the aspirative preoperatory cytology and the final paraffin biopsy. We can conclude that the needle aspitative cytology have a better sensibility the diagnose the cancer in comparison with the biopsy by freezing, arriving to the conclusion that this proceed is not necessary.Downloads
