We present the case of a linfangioma on the right zigomatic region in a female, 50 years-old patient attending the Emergency ward of the hospital “Julio M. Aristegui Villamil”, of Cardenas, after suffering a trauma in that zone. Clinically there appeared a brusque, resistant volume increasing, covered by smooth, brilliant and lightly violet skin. After the initial, symptomatic treatment we decided to puncture it with the diagnostic impression of a traumatic hematome. To our surprise the obtained liquid was lymph as reported de Pathologic Anatomy Department. After this finding, we decided to put a compressive bandage during 24 hours and to administer oral corticoids. We review national and international literature on linfangiomas, and the found criteria coincide with our according to the therapeutic behavior. Up-to-day, the evolution of the patient has been satisfactory and our alternative surgery is still a future.Downloads
