Gastrointestinal stroma tumor with epithelioid pattern

Male patient of 66 years old that presented abdominal pain and a loss of weight of 15 pounds in 4 months and an abdominal mass was felt in the epigaster. An endoscopy with biopsy was made, diagnosing gastric carcinoma. A total gastrectomy was also made. After the studies were done a gastrointestinal stroma tumor with epithelioid pattern was diagnosed.Downloads
