Abstract

We determined the behavior of the gall blade disorders' surgical treatment by laparoscopic video and made a prospective-descriptive study of all the patients presenting gall blade disorders tributary to surgical treatment from February 2000 to April 2007 at the Teaching Military Hospital “Mario Muñoz Monroy”. In all, 1891 patients were operated. Among the main risk factors for this surgery are, firstly, cardiovascular risks- 757 (40,0 %), followed by previously abdominal surgeries – 608 (32,1 %). Among the most serious surgical complications are the main biliary tract lesion – 3 (0,15 %), peritoneal blade- 2 (0,10 %), hemorrhages- 2 (0,10 %). The elective surgery – 1785 (94,3 %) predominated over the urgent surgery- 106 (5,6 %). 37 (1,9 %) of them were converted, and the difficulty for identifying structures had the biggest incidence 28 (1,5 %).The mortality in our series was of 2 patients (0, 10 %).
