Abstract

We have had as purpose,to expose in a first part of the chronology of the ophtalmology in cuba ,understood from the conguest until the e3nd of the colonial stage.in the second part we will approach the chronology of the speciality during the north american military .interventtion and during the timt of the pseudorepublic.T
3he third part correspond to the same revolutionary process from the first day of january 1959 up to our current moments.

Chronological report its emphazied in the main facts and medical figures of its epoc in general which had relation ship with the development of the speciality in Cuba.We have mentioned the advances of the scientific task of the epoch and how they were introduced and apply in the country.
