The primitive breast sarcoma is a rare disease with an incidence of 0.5-1% among the malignant breast neoplasm. The world series include: Stromal Sarcomas, Malignant Cistosarcoma Fillodes and the angyiosarcomas as entities very well known. The sarcomas tumors have a well defined clinical presentation: big tumors with progressive growing with not invasion to the deep tissues and is not frecuent the telorragya, the nipple retraction or the skin like orange peel. The spread usually occurs by blood way so the axillary node spread is uncommon. The disease finally produce visceral spread principally to the lungs and bones. In the present paper we've made a bibliographyc revision on that topic, beside we presented the incidence and approach of this rare pathology at “Mario Muñoz Monroy” University Hospital of Colón, Matanzas Province, Cuba. We reviewed the clinical records of 540 patient who were operated on breast cancer in the period between January/1974 up to December/2005 and we found 7 cases of Sarcomas Tumors of the breast. We found an incidence of 1.2%, the age presentation was from 27 up to 62 years old. There was not bilaterality in our patients. All the axillary nodes were negatives of tumor spread. The surgical treatment must be at least of a Total Mastectomy taking care that the surgical dissection borders are negative of tumor because it seems to be the must important prognosis factor to get a better global survival in this kind of patients.Downloads
