Abstract

A study is perfomed in 17 patients with a diagnosis of Chroideremia seen in the “Camilo Cienfuegos” International Center for Pigmentary Ketinosis.the general objective is to know the clinico -opthalmologic features of patients with this disease, in order to contribute to a better knowledge of the group of hereditary diseases that follow the course with chorioretinal dystrophy.
Our study group is specifically characterized by an age range between 26 and 56 years old, with deficient nocturnal vision beginning since the early ages, good central vision and absence of cone answer, transparent crystalline leve and vitrous modifications, being evident the almost complete atropchy of the Choroid Retina Pigmentary Epithelium with the macular area kept undamaged and scanty papilla variation.
