Osteomas are rare benign bone neoplasms, characterized by the presence of both cortical and cancellous bone tissue. A 20-year-old female patient with a healthy history, white skin color and occupation as a student of foreign languages, attended the otorhinolaryngology consultation with the concern of a painless increase in volume of progressive growth in the right external auditory canal, accompanied by a sensation of ear fullness, tinnitus with ringing and hearing loss. Physical and complementary examinations revealed a presumptive diagnosis of osteoma of the right external auditory canal. Surgical approach to the lesion was performed to obtain a sample for histopathological study, which confirmed the presumptive diagnosis.
