The exchange of standardized information at the national and international levels using validated and low-cost tools is a topic of interest in the clinical and social fields. Therefore, the aspects related to cross-cultural adaptation, validity, and reliability of the different adaptations of the Oxford Elbow Score presented in the literature are analyzed. The above, in order to highlight the feasibility and necessity of developing a Spanish version that allows feedback on the impact of the approaches and interventions developed in patients with elbow disorders. Likewise, the use of different tests that corroborate the rigor of existing versions of the Oxford Elbow Score is highlighted and discussed, as well as certain shortcomings and limitations in components of specific versions. Finally, the paper concludes with aspect related to the construction of the Oxford Elbow Score, its validation, practicality, and the role of the patient in its use.
