Abstract

An assessment of study methods to first-year students of Medicine and College-degree Nursing carcers, during the 2000-2001 year course, has been carried out involving the hygienic, disciplinary and organizing aspects of the properly said methods and students self-valuation. A sample of 50 Medical students and 20 college-degree Nursing students were chosen, selected by the simple randomized method, to whom a survey sheet with twenty questions were given aimed to the before-mentioned purposes. Data were tabulated and tables were arranged demonstrating the results in absolute and relative frequencies, being these analyzed by the statistic test of percentage difference between Medicine and Nursing are not significant.
