Abstract

The need of the nursing care has always been universal and the element of caring is the essence of our scientific discipline.The responsability of the nursing staff is to act rightly with the ethics of their profesión to offer a qualified sanitary attention to the individual, the family and the communityl.Due to the relevance these aspects have, a bibliographic revision was done which led to the explanation of the ethical principles that rule the nurse performance on the arto f caring patients and some assertions have been made by some theories of modern nursing related to this important Fac. Caring the human being implies responsability, but also hended is a sensitized nurse engaged with the care offered. The patients dignity, autonomy and privacy must then be respected and he must be helped in taking decisions and must always be given a truthful, prudent and careful information when it is asked. The nurse must always be correct and convenced of the theorical knowledge hended to substantiate his or her professional performance.
