The incorporation of women to management has been decisive in the outcomes reached in teaching inside Cuban public health, adding fresh air. With the aim of describing women’s incorporation to the management of the Medical Sciences in the branch of Colon municipality, province of Matanzas, during the period 1982-2014, we carried out a study, taking as a guidance Cuban public health periodization, from the colonial period to the current years of the Revolution. It was made evident that in the first public health periods, women’s participation in the management processes was very low. The same happened in the Medical Sciences University Branch “Dr. Eusebio Hernández Pérez”, since 1982 to 2006, a year from which there it was an increase of women’s participation in the management of this institution’s main processes.Downloads
