Abstract

The aim of this paper was reviewing the history and development of the Provincial Teaching Pediatric Hospital “Eliseo ‘Noel’ Caamaño”, of Matanzas. Reviewing documents, we enriched a research beginning from an interview made to Professor Manuel García Suarez, member of the medical staff in the three phases of the institution, and its first director after nationalization; he had also provided written considerations and documentation on the evolution of the health care center.
