Abstract

A descriptive and prospective study was carried out in Cárdenas' Hospital, to determine the precision in the diagnosis of a significant coronary occlusion, of the images of a stress echocardiography with Dobutamine, obtained by means of an echocardiograph without the required software for this, connected to a computer with capture of video card. Has been perfomed to 72 patients that had inclusion approaches, and they didn't have contraindications. In 57 patients whose exam result was positive,a coronariography was carried out,to corroborate the analysis results of these imagens, being detected coronary lesion in 55 patients, for a positive predictive value of 96,4 %. Affection of the left coronary artery was detected in 97,2 %, and in the right coronary artery 85 %, concluding that the images had a high precision in the diagnosis of coronary occlusion.
