Abstract

A lineal descriptive study is reviewed in patients who attended the cytology departament with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia,during the period since 1997 to 2001.Our work universe was made up of 100 patients and the studied variables werw the cystologic and histologic studies. These patients were evaluated by the percentage method and predominance reason (OR) with a P <=1 value and 95% reliability.The cystohistologic correspondence was 73.3% and the biopsy by cervix conization was the one with best rersults in relation to cervix puncture;the lack of no cystohistologic correspondence results suggest that there are difficulties in sample taking.
In our research work we found no resultc suggesting invasive carcinoma.
