Abstract

There is an study of 80 patients in pelvic presentation (p.p) in the Docent Hospital “ Julio M. Aristegui”, in a period of time between January 1 st of 2000 and December 31 of 2001 and a control group integrated by the same number of born but in cephalic presentation . The Displacement of Congenitive Hip was 16.3 times more frequent in babies born in pelvic presentation and the female sex has 82.7% and 90.4% were white. They took previous facts of Displacement of Congenitive Hip in families of 6 patients (11.5%) and in the first _born (65.4%). The main thing was the unilateral subluxation in the left_handed part with assimetric and Sign of Shenton in the radiographic evaluation. It is shown that the Displacement of Congenitive Hip is more frequent in babies born with pelvic presentation.
