Abstract

With the objetive to know the morbimortality due to Acute Renal Ruling a descriptive study was done in the Intensive Care Unit in Faustino Pérez" Hospital,represented by the 176 patients that enter in that unit from september 2001 to april 2002.In ove study we obtained a morbility of 13,6% and a mortality of 50%, the male sex was the most affected with 16%(14 cases) and the rest were female with 11,2%.The groups were afected in different ways in both sexes for the males the group of 60-69(50%-7 cases) and the females the group of 20-29 year(30%-cases).The most frequent acute renal rulig found was the prerenal with 91,6%.The most frequent causes were the hypovolemia and the sepsis,this last one giving the highest number treatment died,and the one who present multiorganic problems died too.
