With the objective of characterizing the existent relationship among the outlying vascular illness, the ischemic cardiopathy and the cerebrovascular illness, 40 diabetic patients were evaluated without age distinction or sex classified as carriers of arterial lesion occluded type or not occluded. To each patient a clinical examination was carried out , a quantitative hemodynamic study of both inferior members, and an electrocardiogram. It was observed that the occluded patients presented a larger proportion of electrocardiograms with cardiopathy signs. In the same manner, the distribution of symptoms and vascular peripherals, clinical signs were different in both groups, finding that those occluded presented larger intermittent claudication proportion, while those not occluded presented greater pain proportion and unspecific symptomatology. Finally it was observed that the heart and cerebrovascular clinical symptomatology did not show any ºdifferences between both groups.Downloads
