Arterial hypertension prevailance and risk factors present in a health area population

A study is perfomed on arterial hypertension prevailance and probable risk factor that act as chainles accelarators, or as a motive of complication presence and beginning in a health area from Matanzas Municipality in which a survey was applied to a universe,calculated in its sample where a prevailance of 14,6% was obtained for every 100 cases sampled, with the age group of 55 to 64 years old and 65 to 74 years old the most representatives ones.Obesity, sedentary life and somoking habits were found the most significant risk factors as well as background of hypertensive mother and father.Downloads
