Raynaud's phenomenon is included in the group of the so called vasomotor acro syndromes of the paroxysmal type, with a first phase of paleness or syncope phase produced by an arteriole vasospasm followed by cyanosis or asphyxia phase due to capillary blood stasis and, finally, a reactive hyperemic phase with flushing. It has variable intensity and its pathogenic mechanism is unknown, although it's known. That cold, emotions and humidity induce it. Its frequency is scarce in pediatric ages and, occasionally, it's a precocious sign of a connectivepathy. Next we present the case of an 11-years-old girl attended in the Educational General Hospital Julio M. Aristegui Villamil, of Cardenas with a clinical picture of acute arterial ischemia of the right toes. A general humoral, immunological and vascular study was carried out. The digital photoplethysmography was positive and no demonstrated cause was found up to this time, so, it was concluded as an atypical-in-child Raynaud's phenomenon.Downloads
