A review of the Malignant Neuroleptic Syndrome is done, a not frequent illness, but potentially lethal, with the objective to offer a global vision of itself. We deepen in its epidemiology, physiopathology and risk factors, moreover relevant criterion according to the diagnosis and new aspects in its therapy are exposed. We pretend to make visible the importance of maintaining a high suspicion to make a fast diagnosis and by this means, reducing the morbidity and mortality. The fast and satisfactory treatment is determinant for the best evolution of the patient.Downloads
