Abstract

It is consider that more than 90% of women in developed countries pass through a climate stage in today's world in a moment of their lives. Due to the successes reached by our Public Health, it is expected that four millions of Cuban women suffer the consequences of estrogen deficit. As it is known, from the menopause on, there are neuroendocrinics changes that affect the psychological stage of women and the female mobility increased by the arterioscleroses, the osteoporoses and cancer. Recent studies relate a group of these affections with alterations in the oxidative stress, while others demonstrate the antioxidant power of the estrogens. With the purpose of to study the behaviors of these hints, a descriptive study that included 60 women from Matanzas of more than 40 years was done. In this study we analyzed the presence of some symptoms that go with the climate and the concentration of oxidative stress. The most frequent symptoms found were the heats follows by the anxiety in pre menopause women, the insomnia and headaches. The hints of oxidative stress shown a certain increase, being the most remarkable the Super oxide Demitasse.
