Abstract

It is done a preliminary report on a technique used more than 25 years ago for the surgical management of the vesicaureteral reflux in the Urology Department. There is not any report of it in the national literature. We analyze 160 patients, divided into two groups. In the first group, we used the ureteral advancement technique (Innes-Williams) and in the second one the traditional techniques (Politano- Leadbetter, Paquin and Gregoir). We analyzed and compared the vesicaureteral reflux technique and compared it with the others to determine and show its advantages, highlighting the benefits of the usage of the new procedure related with the diminishing of the surgical complications, the hospital staying and other hospital indicators
