The follicular adenoma of thyroid is the most frequent benign tumor which has a surgery treatment. The diagnosis is made in most of the occasions by the Aspirative Cytology with Thin Needle, but the definition between begingnant and malignant of this tumor is only possible in the definite diagnosis of biopsy by paraffin. A retrospective study of 372 patients operated by this disease was done in a period of 13 years taking into consideration the analysis of some variable specially the Aspirative Cytology with Thin Needle and the Biopsy by Freezing, obtaining as result that the last one does not have new elements in the definition of the entity.Downloads
