Health and ecology are tightly related because of the ominous consequences different environmental factors could cause. Physic, chemical, biologic, psychological and even social environmental factors can interact with the organism even during the prenatal phase of the life. Although the human embryo is well protected inside the uterus, some environmental agents, called teratological, could cause disturbances when they fulfill some basic premises. Some viral infections, radiations, some drugs, alcohol, chemic substances of industrial and domestic use, non-infectious maternal conditions, long-time stress, nutritional lacks and physical traumas are particularly important. They are independents for their nature, but they could form complex bio-psycho- social systems by the way they act.Downloads
