When one considers the complexity of the several aortic arches connecting the dorsal and ventral aortas and their sequential development and disappearance as differentiation of the embryo takes place, it is surprising that abnormalities of the aortic arch and the vessels supplying the head, neck and upper extremities are not recognized with greater frequency than seems to be the case. We present a 4 years old boy with cold. The chest x ray show a right aortic arch. The echocardiography confirms the vascular malformation. We investigate about suggestive symptoms of tracheal and esophageal compression, but nothing was found.Downloads
