Abstract

Beyond a group of interests and intentions, the most urgent thing in medicine is the care and attention taken with patients´ life, particularly of those who, for one or another reason, have become physically or mentally impaired. Our work is a modest effort to make understandable for all the persons working in the Health Care System that ” the quality of life” of a human being is unlimited and, independent of his state of health, it never can be quantified. Furthermore, it can not be conditioned by the concept of ”the quality of life” our society and we ourselves have imposed to this person. Our intention is to enlighten the consciences, with the objective of safeguarding the human dignity.
