Microdose of Ginko Biloba for the treatment of cephalea.

The Microdose is a new pharmaceutical form that has gained ground in the present-day therapies due to its accessibility and economy, being of easy consumption and great acceptance on the side of the patient. In this case we can see it elaborated by Ginko Biloba, an ancient chinesse tree of a high prestige in the treatment of neurological and brain-vascular illness. To the immunology consultation of the "Dr. Mario E. Dihigo" clinic, a lot of patients assist coming from the neurology consultation with proper symptoms of neurologic illness, being the most frequent the cephalea along or with other symptoms as well as giddiness, loss of memory, trembling and motor disorders which are sometimes related with Allergy. In this study 50 patients were diagnosed at the Neurology consultation, with cephalea as group of study, to which it was applied the microdose of Ginko Biloba in the dose of 3 drops upon the tongue 3 times a day for 6 months. As control group there were 90 patients with the same origin, treated with the conventional therapy in this cases. We determine the hemoglobin in both groups in the 15, 30, 60 and 180 days after the therapy was started. We observe that in the study group the symptoms began to return in the day 10 after the treatment has started and hemoglobin was higher than the ones of the control group. During this treatment there were no wished reactions and the improvement was better that the one in the conventional treatment.Downloads
