Medicine, from the beginning, has been based on the principle of serving people in function of their health, to suit their physical and mental well-being, to heal their diseases, to prolong their lives. Being a discipline trading with people, medicine is an anthropocentric activity. The medical ethic is a practical, normative ethic. To act inside the ethic borders, the surgeon should be familiarized and identified with the moral values and principles sustaining the medical system. The aim of the current work is to make a reflection on this subject in the mayor ambulatory surgery practice. The ethic aspects are described making a reflection about the daily surgical practice, about the ethical principles and responsibilities assumed by the surgeon in order of the informed consent and the medical quality of the given service. The advantages of the method and the necessary conditions to be surgically operated by a Mayor Ambulatory Surgery are exposed here. The mayor ambulatory surgery always respects the ethical conditions because of its scientist character and its technical and surgical procedure, does not violate any precepts and always maintains an active relation surgeon-patient and a familiar cooperation that gives it a social distinction of great relevance.
