Abstract

A microdoses is a pharmaceutical form in which there are used little quantities of drugs, dissolved in a hydroalcoholic vehicle and applied to the sensorial endings of the tongue. It is believed that these stimuli unchain their action in neuro-hormonal way (Hypothalamus- cerebral cortex- healing effector endings) according to Martinez Bravo, beginner of this new pharmaceutical modality. It is characterized by its fast action, absence of undesirable side effects and therapeutic screen widening of the drug. In this work we treated 55 patients assisting to the Traditional and Natural Medicine consultation diagnosed with different etiology pains. We used with them Microdoses of Dipyrone in doses of 3 sublingual drops 3 times a day during around 4 weeks. The results were satisfactory in most of the cases, with a high percent of patients feeling better and recovered. Besides that, this pharmaceutical form allows us to use the 24-hours dose of a patient to prepare the microdoses quantity needed to treat 44 patients during 44 weeks, representing an economic saving of 99.7 % with respect of the treatment with tablets of Dipyrone.
