In Cuba, there have being qualitative changes in teaching from the beginning of the revolutionary period up to the down of the new millennium with the teaching universalization in Medical Sciences, allowing to contextualize the formation of new human resources in nursery focused in health preventing and promoting. Inside this changing context, the university in the university policlinics has taken on the commitments of analyzing the bio-psycho-social problems and of giving, in its dialectic relation with the community, viable solutions to them; they have also the commitment of building processes directed to redesign settings where the nursery staff could transform the reality of the preventive medicine, with a strengthened professional identity and a development based in the self knowledge.
