Abstract

We carried out an Investigation in Health Systems and Services with an observational epidemiological design of transversal descriptive kind in the province of Matanzas in the period from 2000-2006. We took into account 100 % of the cases of diagnosed tuberculosis and arrived to the conclusion that at the provincial level and in the areas, the indicators of Symptomatic investigation were not adequately fulfilled, with the increase of the first symptoms and diagnosis of the cases, and increase of hospital diagnosis in the last two years.
