Abstract

A nine-year old arrives to Matanzas Provincial Hospital with a history of Bronchial Asthma,that had started with recurrent epistaxis since April 2001.Three months later she was seen at the Otorhinology office.A solid,red tumor was found in her right nasal fossa with a smooth surface of approximately 5 mm large in the anterior site of the nasal septum related to the vascular spot.Patient was operated and an exeresis of the tumor was perfomed,with securiry margens,including the cartilage of such site.On its part Pathology Anatomy reported.A Bening H emangiopericytoma.A rare and unusual tumor in such area.
