Abstract

Knowing that congenital cataract is a disease that may have autosomal dominant inheritance, autosomal recessive, linked to the X and multifactorial, in which the precocious diagnosis decisively influences in the prognosis and life quality of the patients, we made a bibliographical review on congenital cataract to solve a case followed in genetics consultation.
