Pancreatic trauma is increasing currently, and that may be caused by high speed car accidents or by a better detection of the pancreatic lesions. We present a case of pancreatic trauma admitted in the service of the Teaching Surgico-clinical Provincial Hospital Jose R. Lopez Tabranes, of Matanzas, taking into account the importance and severity of some of its forms, and that some of its most mild forms are not diagnosed sometimes. We made a review of the updated literature on this disease for a better comprehension of the case.Downloads
