Multidisciplinary handling of epidermoid carcinoma in the external auditory canal. Presentation of a case

A 42 year-old patient is presented with the diagnostic of an Epidermoid Carcinoma of the external auditory canal on June 2008. He had got a radical radiotherapy as treatment with a completely response but in January 2010 he return with the tumour in the same place. It was the reason to discuss this patient in different department as Neurosurgery, Radiotherapy and Reconstructive Surgery. This patient received a total remove of the tumour, Intraoperative Radiotherapy with electron (EIORT) and a local reconstruction with mayor Pectoral Muscle. As Result the treatments were bear by the patient increasing his expectative and quality life.Downloads
