Abstract

The system of Health of our country has suffered during this last decade the restrictive effects in the readiness of resources mainly to the worsening of the Blockade imposed by the imperialism, to the collapse of the socialist field, the increase of the general crisis that it suffers the capitalism expressed at international level by the phenomenon of the globalisations, which doesn't only embrace the economic sphere but also the politics and social. It is for this reason that we present the present work trying to embrace in a synthetic way all the essential aspects that conform the situation of current health of our territory, making emphasis in the aspects in our more important opinion. Evaluating the main demographic indicators, of mortality, morbidity, resources and services.
The results of the work are presented divided in demographic indicators of mortality, morbidity and finally of resources and services, summary measures are used for qualitative data, you calculate absolute, percents and gross and adjusted rates, you concludes that a considerable reduction of the natality exists with a marked tendency to the population's aging, the index of masculinity of the county belongs to 102 men for each 100 women, a reason of high dependence was determined (48.2%). Only the Illnesses Sharp Diarreic is increased in connection with the previous year (ISD) and the risk of dying in the county increases, although when making the adjustment for age groups this it diminishes. In a general way they decrease the beds and they improve the indicators of use of the resource bed. The infantile mortality and their components diminish with relationship to the previous year.
