Abstract

Biosecurity in Stomatology is vital to achieve the quality of the service. The objective of the current work was reflecting on this topic, being a problem in the Matanzasan stomatologic community. We used the bibliographic and documental review, and also the observation, interviews to specialists and inquiries. Data were the substratum to develop considerations and reflections on the studied theme. We also exposed aspects of the daily practice to take into account for the rescue of the biosecurity. There were proposed strategies to develop according to the historical moment the country is going through and the transformation of the Cuban public health to achieve its sustainability. It was evidenced the unavoidable necessity of the fusion teaching process-health care- investigation to achieve the success. A qualitative working environment for patients and health care givers contribute to the excellence and efficiency of the health care system.
