Prevention of sexual transmission infections in Secondary school in Versalles´district.

Abstract

The Sexual Transmission Infections (ITS), are frequent in the young population between the ages of 15 to 29 years, but we have to remind that we can infect ourselves in any age if we have sexual manners risks. Up to now the ITS is considered a great health problem, economical and socially talking. Taking into consideration the location of our provincial clinic and the importance of the preventive role in youth in respect with the information and the debates we have with them in sexual transmition contests we decide to make a promotional group of health for the ITS and to evaluate the importance of it in the adolescent students. Our universe was made by 887 students from two schools. The three specialists of the promotional group rested on two girls of those schools to apply the questionnaires before and after the educative talks. Those questionnaires were validated by five experts. The results demonstrated the ignorance of some of the ITS and its complications, besides the AIDS is not known as a complication of the rest of the ITS. The students had changes in the answers about the age they begin their sexual relations. All of them recognize the condom as a right method for the prevention of the ITS.
